Common Questions
I need a registration token
Read the rules. No, seriously — the token is hidden in there. It's my way of making sure you've actually read them before joining. If you still can't find it, DM me at @misscorruption:zeroprocess.de.
I lost my encryption keys
Unfortunately, if you didn't set up key backup and lost access to all your sessions, old encrypted messages are gone permanently. I can't recover them either — that's how end-to-end encryption works. You can still keep using your account; only historical encrypted messages are affected.
I got banned / I want to appeal
Send an email to admin@zeroprocess.de explaining the situation. Include your Matrix ID. Appeals are handled case-by-case.
I found a bug or security issue
For security issues, email admin@zeroprocess.de directly — don't post about it publicly. For regular bugs with the homeserver, just DM me.
Can I invite friends?
Yes! Just ask me for extra registration tokens. There's no hard limit, but I'd like to keep the community at a size where I can actually manage it by myself.
Server Status
If the server seems down, check if other *.zeroprocess.de services are reachable. If everything is down, it's likely a tunnel or VPS issue — sit tight, I'll fix it when I notice (or when you tell me). This is running on hardware in my home, so the occasional hiccup comes with the territory. For prolonged outages, email is the best way to poke me.
